"Rp. 50 million was lent by the defendant to Akri for business capital in agriculture and nutmeg planting. The defendant did not know that the money was used to buy crystal methamphetamine. The defendant had no intention of becoming a broker, or intermediary in the sale of class one drugs," said the legal team. Defendant Ammar is married and has two children. After leaving, defendant Ammar wanted to live with his wife but apparently he sued for divorce," said Jon Mathias.
As we know, Ammar has been arrested for the third time in a drug case and he is currently charged under Article 114 paragraph 1 of the Narcotics Law with a sentence of 12 years in prison and a fine of IDR 2 billion.
