This ridiculous action of a cellphone thief makes you shake your head, you had to pray before committing the crime
JAKARTA, SEMARAKNEWS.CO.ID - A viral video on social media shows a man trying to steal the cellphone of a congregation member who was fast asleep in the mosque.
This incident was recorded by a CCTV camera which showed a man pretending to be praying at a mosque at dawn.
However, his action looked hilarious because he only prayed one rak'ah and had time to pray afterwards.
At first, there was nothing strange about the perpetrator's behavior. He was seen taking off the shoes and socks he was wearing before entering the mosque.
However, he did not immediately enter the mosque, but instead monitored the situation for a while from outside. Not long after, he finally decided to enter the mosque.
Inside the mosque, several people were seen sound asleep after performing morning prayers. The perpetrator also pretended to pray to ensure the situation was safe.
However, what made this incident funny was when he only performed one rak'ah of prayer before carrying out his action. The perpetrator even took the time to pray before taking the victim's cellphone.
Before carrying out his action, the perpetrator was clearly targeting the cellphone belonging to the person who was fast asleep in the mosque. Not long after that, the perpetrator calmly took the cellphone that was lying on the mosque prayer mat.
In fact, he looked so relaxed and carefree when he left the mosque. He walked slowly after successfully taking the stolen goods.
This action is of course very disturbing. How could anyone dare to do something like this in a place of worship? Hopefully the perpetrator will be caught soon and receive appropriate punishment for his disgraceful actions.
This incident shows how important it is to be careful in protecting your belongings when in public places, including inside mosques. Even though places of worship should be places of safety and security, we must also remain alert to potential crimes that could occur around us.
