If one of the civil servants is caught doing WFH, of course they will receive sanctions.
This was conveyed directly by the Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono.

"Today is a working day, so the DKI provincial government doesn't have WFH. Everyone has to go in because it's been 10 days (holiday)," said Heru at Jakarta City Hall Tuesday, April 16 2024.
"Nothing. Everyone comes in. Just the media comes in, but my employees are WFH? That's cheating, right? It has to be fair to both people coming in," he added.
Heru also emphasized that there would be sanctions if civil servants did not carry out work starting today.
"Yes, sanctions, other people are already working. It's just me, we're all working, the department heads. Sanctions must be strict," he said.

Heru asked his staff, including the Head of Service for each regional work unit (SKPD), to check.
"Yes, I asked BKD in the area, the mayors, BKD, Head of District got together, checked their respective staff. Once again, there are no DKI ranks, no WFH," he said.
Previously, the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) followed up on the Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Number 1 of 2024 concerning Adjustments to the Work System of State Civil Servants in Government Agencies After National Holidays and Joint Holiday for Idul Fitri 1445 Hijriah. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government implements the implementation of official duties from home (Work From Home) selectively.
WFH is carried out as a way to reduce traffic jams when the homecoming flow is running.
