Reza explained the process by which he was convinced to embrace Islam until now.
In the beginning he was able to convert to Islam because of what his mother said, Reza himself was a child from a marriage of a different religion.

When he was little, Reza remembers very well that his mother gave him the freedom to choose whatever religion he believed in.
"Maybe I can't tell you the full story, but my mother told me, embrace the religion that I believe in, because the religion that my mother embraced is what my mother brought to you from birth," said Reza Rahadian in Tendean Tuesday, 22 May 2024 .
"But if you are aware of embracing another religion with full awareness, please do so," he continued.
Before converting to Islam, Reza believed that Islam was a religion full of love and peace.

Therefore, when he was 19 years old, Reza decided to become a convert.
"In the course of my life I discovered that Islam is a religion of peace, full of love, of course all religions teach about love, but in my opinion Islam perfects it, about love, compassion, peace. For me it just feels peaceful, I'm also confused about how to explain it neatly "In my opinion, embracing Islam is embracing peace," he explained.
"I finally converted to Islam at the age of 19 or 20. Previously, I converted to Christianity," he said.
