The story of Vina's death is now being made into a feature film which will be showing in cinemas on May 8, 2024.

Before the film was released, it turned out that Vina's older brother did not agree with his sister's story being made into a feature film.
This was conveyed by Vina's sister via Denny Sumargo's YouTube account.
"PH came to the house last year (2023), 'I want to ask, where was the late Vina's house?' 'What's wrong sis? I'm her sister' I said, 'oh I want to have an important chat, can I do it at home?' "Keep chatting with other families," said Marliyana, Vina's sister, quoted from Denny Sumargo's YouTube account.
At that time, Marliyana admitted that she had mixed feelings. He even disagrees if his younger brother's sad story becomes a public spectacle because it could open up old wounds for the family.

"Yes, they were interested in making a film. They were shocked, confused, mixed up. I was against it from the start. Personally, as an older sibling, I didn't agree, the reason was because it opened up wounds again, I feel sorry for you like mother, and grandmother too, Yes, everyone is sorry, so I don't agree," he said.
"It's just that I'm just an older sibling, I can't just decide on one side, I said, 'I'll come back later sis, meet my parents, the other family too so we can all get together'," he added.
After negotiating with the family, Vina's brother finally accepted his sister's story to be made into a big screen film.
Marliyana also hopes that the three perpetrators who are still at large will be caught quickly after this case goes viral again.

"The reason is so that there are more prayers for my younger brother too, and also so that these three perpetrators, you know, I want to explain further," he concluded.
