This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Maluku Province, Subair.
As we know, the 2024 regional elections will be chaotic because the Constitutional Court's decision was rejected.

"Basically, Bawaslu supervises all stages, including government or social agendas carried out during the regional elections," said Subair in Ambon, Thursday 22 August 2024.
Not only that, Subair also said that the distribution of social assistance during the regional elections could potentially be misused to benefit or harm one or some of the election participants.
"There should be no social assistance in the name of the government. This will be under our supervision," he stressed
According to him, the distribution of social assistance could also be a medium for money politics packaged with government programs.

Therefore, Bawaslu hopes for active participation from all elements, including levels of society, so that they can report to Bawaslu if they feel there are allegations of violations committed during the Pilkada stages.
"Apart from being our responsibility, we also hope for active participation from the community to jointly monitor the progress of the Pilkada stages," he asked
Apart from that, Subair continued, his party also focuses on monitoring both geographical conditions and ASN neutrality.
"For example, this geographical condition is hampered by internet and electricity networks. So we will carry out special supervision in blank spot areas like this," he said.
