Many people asked why Ayu separated from Dhana even though a luxurious proposal ceremony had been held.
Ayu Ting-Ting explained that her decision to separate from Dhana was made amicably with their respective families.
"We broke up on June 22 2024, then officially told our parents on June 27," he said in Tendean Monday, July 1 2024.
Ayu Ting Ting then revealed her reasons for ending her engagement with Fardhana. He firmly denied that the decision was taken because of economic problems between them.

"I emphasize that if the reason for breaking up was economic problems, there would be no way I would want to get engaged and plan a wedding. "From the start, I accepted my partner's condition," he said
“So there is something that is very principled for me. And we can't bridge that between each other. So just me, Allah, and my family know. Let this be our privacy.” he continued.
Ayu admitted that her decision was something she had thought carefully about and was indeed the best way.
“I could not have taken this step without careful consideration. "It's not the time for me to play around with relationships," he said.
