Jokowi Tegaskan: Jangan Bayangkan IKN Jadi Sepenuhnya saat Upacara 17 Agustus 2024

JAKARTA, SEMARAKNEWS.CO.ID -Jokowi gave a message to the public not to have too many expectations during the August 17 ceremony at IKN.

It is also known that the ceremony will be held in Jakarta and also at IKN.

President Joko Widodo said that heavy rain in the Indonesian capital (IKN) caused the progress of a number of works to experience setbacks.

"IKN was not built in 2 years or 3 years, this is a big long-term dream, a long-term project. Maybe 15-20 years. "So don't imagine that our August 17th ceremony has already been completed," said Jokowi in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 16 2024.

Jokowi also said that the IKN development process was only 15% underway.

Jokowi said that currently IKN still needs investors from both within and outside the country.

"At the latest, on August 17, it will be calculated most overall, maybe 15%. This still requires investment, it still requires investors from within and outside. "That's what we are pursuing," he said.

Not only that, Jokowi said that the government is still pursuing investors to invest in IKN. 

However, Jokowi also explained that government buildings could be completed more quickly because they used the APBN. 

"The government's obligation is from the government buildings of the Palace of the President and Vice President and therefore 100% of the APBN," he explained.
