Heru said that Jokowi would inaugurate the toll road at IKN on July 28. Jokowi is also said to be in office in 1-2 days.
"The plan is that on the 28th he will inaugurate the toll road and inspect it. We, together with PUPR and the Presidential Secretariat, are preparing everything the president needs to have an office at IKN," Heru told reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex, Wednesday, July 24 2024.

All furniture preparations are being prepared by PUPR to the Presidential Secretariat and office equipment is still in the preparation stage.
"We are currently preparing the president's office, the chairs that are needed. I, as Head of the Presidential Secretariat, together with my fellow Presidential Secretariat officials, starting today and July 25, we will fill the furniture needs that must be prepared for the president," he said.
"Yes, there are several stages, maybe he will be 1-2 days before the 28th and we are concentrating there on preparing all the infrastructure for August 17, so maybe after the 28th he may have to go to IKN a few more times before August 17, right? series of activities," he added.
