After the detention, Chika's family finally visited Chika and wanted to know further information.
The mother said that her son only wanted to play and didn't think his son would consume marijuana.
"He (Chandra Chika) said he just wanted to play," said Poppy, Chika's mother, at the South Jakarta Police, Wednesday, April 24 2024.
As a mother, Poppy never suspected Chandra Chika's playmates.

"I always knew his friends," said Poppy.
After visiting, Chandra Chika's parents did not comment much on the alleged case of possession and abuse of narcotics that ensnared their daughter.
The father also admitted that he was shocked by his own daughter's treatment.
"We were shocked, why could that be," said Chandra Chika's father, who did not want to reveal his identity.
Chika's father and mother admitted that they missed it so that their child was in a position like this.
"Just pray that there is a solution," said Chandra Chika's father.
