JAKARTA, SEMARAKNEWS.CO.ID - Social media is currently abuzz with news of the death of a young doctor at Kardinah Hospital, Tegal, Central Java.
The doctor is suspected of committing suicide because he could not stand the bullying while undergoing the Anesthesia Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) at Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang.
It is reported that the young doctor injected drugs into his body which caused his death.
Reported from the Instagram account @mood.jakarta which was re-uploaded by the X account @bambangsuling11, it was stated that the doctor, known as Aulia Risma Lestari. It was explained that the victim often injected drugs into his body.
He was a young doctor who was undergoing the Anesthesia Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) at Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang and was placed in the hospital. However, unfortunately he had to end his life tragically because the pressure was too much for him.
On the other hand, the Undip Anesthesia PPDS party said that the victim often injected the drug into his body because of pinched nerve pain. However, during the examination, the victim's diary was found stating that the victim could not stand the bullying and finally committed suicide.
It was reported that the victim died in his boarding room in the Semarang City area on Monday, August 12, 2024. According to the results of the examination, the victim injected himself into his body the day before.
He was determined to inject an anesthetic that could only be accessed by an anesthesiologist or an anesthesia specialist program like the one he was undergoing.
In response to the bullying that occurred in the Diponegoro University Anesthesia Study Program at Dr. Kariadi Hospital, the Ministry of Health temporarily suspended the study program until the investigation was complete.
The Ministry of Health even asked the hospital and campus to be held accountable for this incident.
