"Intinya kami nanitnya akan terus mengevaluasi, arahan pak presiden itu jangan sampai nanti terjadi kelangkaan (gas). Kami evaluasi kembali," papar Mustika.
Sekadar informasi saja, pemerintah mengimplementasikan bahwa pembelian LPG 3 kilogram (kg) untuk konsumen sudah wajib mendaftar NIK atau KTP, mulai 1 Januari 2024.
Dengan aturan itu maka setiap pangkalan harus mendistribusikan gas LPG 3 kg kepada konsumen yang sudah mendaftarkan KTPnya.

JAKARTA, SEMARAKNEWS.CO.ID - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will extend the NIK KTP registration period for people who want to buy 3 Kilogram LPG gas.
The extension of the registration period for purchasing 3 Kg LPG gas is said to remain open until May 31 2024.
The initial plan, registration of NIK KTP for the public to purchase 3 kg LPG gas ends at the end of this month, January 31 2024.
However, now the government has decided to extend the registration period, because the number of registrants is still relatively small.
This was confirmed directly by the Director of Downstream Oil and Gas Business Development, Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mustika Pertiwi.
The total NIK of people registered to purchase 3 kg LPG gas was only 31.5 million as of December 31, 2023.
Of course, the figure of 31.5 million is still very far from the data for the Targeting the Acceleration of Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE).
