Johan Budi Mundur dari DPR dan PDIP Usai Lolos Lolos Administrasi Capim KPK

JAKARTA, SEMARAKNEWS.CO.ID - Johan Budi was declared qualified to become the administrative leader of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and forced him to resign from the DPR and PDIP.

Johan himself said that he really struggled in the KPK Capim administration process.

He emphasized that he was resigning from the DPR and PDIP.

"I am in the process of resigning from the DPR and then from PDIP," said Johan Budi at the KPK Building Wednesday, July 25 2024.

Not only that, he also explained that the process of resigning as a DPR member and PDIP cadre takes time. 

However, Johan Budi confirmed that the process would be completed before the selection of KPK chiefs was completed.

"At least before the selection process at the KPK leadership committee is finished, I will have resigned," said Johan.

As is known, the KPK Candidate Pansel announced 236 names who passed the selection for KPK candidates at the administration stage. Those who pass still have to follow a number of more stages.

There are the names of the Deputy Chairmen of the Corruption Eradication Commission who currently serve, namely Nurul Ghufron and Johanis Tanak, among the 236 names. Apart from that, there are a number of names of officials from the National Police, Attorney General's Office and TNI who escaped.

There are also the names of former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said and Kompolnas Commissioner Poengky Indarti who passed.
