The Minister of Religion also said that with these provisions, Muslims in Indonesia celebrate Eid al-Adha together.
This isbat session was attended by Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives Abdul Wachid, the leader of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Abdullah Jaidi, the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance and representatives of other Islamic mass organizations.
Previously, in the hisab calculations carried out by Muhammadiyah, 1 Dzulhijjah 1446 Hijriah fell on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, so that the Eid al-Adha held on 10 Dzulhijjah 1446 Hijriah occurred on Friday, June 6, 2025.
The time for slaughtering the sacrifice begins after the Eid prayer until the next three days of tasyrik. This means that the slaughter can be carried out until 13 Zulhijjah.
