"That's just a statement or maybe an idea from the economist. Not an official statement from the team," said Hasan in Jakarta, Sunday, July 21 2024.

Hasan said that currently the main focus of president-elect Prabowo Subianto and vice-president-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka is providing a nutritious food menu that meets nutritional adequacy standards.

"So the measurement is nutritional adequacy. This nutritional adequacy is determined by a nutritionist," he explained.

Currently, he has received many ideas regarding funds for free nutritious meals in the future.

"Everything is being studied and tested in great detail by the Expert Council. Until now there are no specific figures that can be used as a benchmark, because our benchmark is nutritional adequacy," he said.

Hasan also said that regions in Indonesia have a diversity of nutritional sources so that each region has a local menu that is different from one another.

Fulfillment of nutritional standards will also be adjusted to the availability of food ingredients according to the local menu.

"In various regions, to meet nutritional standards, the menu types are different. In accordance with the availability of food ingredients and local menu types in each place. In terms of price, of course the value will also vary," he explained.
